When we reviewed a prospect’s program, we noted that they were covering their computer equipment in the traditional way, i.e., using an Electronic Data Processing (EDP) policy. However, by procuring a broad Boiler & Machinery policy (a.k.a. Equipment Breakdown Policy), we were able minimize their costs by eliminating the need for the EDP policy. Shortly thereafter they went from being a prospect to being a client.
